My Kitchen Re-Do! Quartz Backsplash

My Kitchen Re-Do! Quartz Backsplash

Week 12

Quartz LG Hausys Rococo

Quartz LG Hausys Rococo

Today Stone Specialists installed the quartz backsplash in our kitchen and bathroom. After endless hours looking at backsplash materials, I chose the same material as our counters: LG Hausys Rococo Quartz. It has the Carrara marble look I want and reminds me of the ancient floors and walls of Italy and Spain, as does our Florida Tile in Silverscreen.  Classic and aged.

  4. I am getting the rococo put in and I saw your pictures of your redone kitchen and it looks amazing!! Please tell me how the sink and the Quartz have held up. I have been looking at this sink for awhile and want to make sure it is the one. I fell in love with the rococo at first site.

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

    • Love love love it all! No problems no maintenance. Easy peasy!!! No regrets! I wouldn’t change a thing!! I wash the sink with dish soap and water. The counters get wiped off with water and a dish rag. Possibly dish soap solution if they get cruddy from baking and flour. Enjoy!

      • Thank you so much for you input. My mind is now made up and I can finally get some sleep!!!
P.s. I love your tile floor. It’s perfect.

      • Thank you! It’s Florida Tile in Silverscreen. Porcelain ceramic. Very easy maintenance too. Reminds me of Italyđź’•

      • JoAnn. Another thought about your counters. I’m happy w my seams. Make sure you understand where your seams will be. For example I don’t have seams around my sink which would have been distracting. Talk w your people who take the measurements. The fewer seams the better What backsplash are you using?

  5. Thank you for letting me know about the seams!! Great point. Not sure on the back splash yet but husband wants something not shiny more like a light/medium gray tile. Any thoughts??
